Management of the school:
The School shall be managed by the Directors. They shall assist in leading and guiding the teachers, parents and learners/students in the fulfillment of the overall objectives of Education of the school and the nation.
The Headmaster/Headmistress, Deputy Master/Mistress, Academic Master will take care of the school in terms of Academics. The school Bursar will oversee all financial aspects of the school and its projects and will be in charge of the non – teaching staff.
The school will have a Board, made up of members selected from various sectors. Among the members there shall be: Educationists, Administrators, Public Servants, Politicians, parents, Religious Leaders, Businessmen/women, and a Representative from the Ministry of Education.
While the selection will be purely on merit, extra care will be taken when selecting them so that only members with the following qualities will be selected:
(a) Committed members
(b) Creative, constructive and helpful.
The organ’s main responsibility will be advising the Headmaster/mistress and his/her team in matters pertaining to the school’s administration.
In the Primary, the school’s day to day operations shall be overseen by the Head teacher who shall ensure that all objectives of education laid down by the ministry of Education shall be fulfilled as per national objectives.
At the other levels that are Secondary, High School and College/University, leadership shall be in accordance with the titles confined to individuals operating at the stated levels, though this is a long term objective.
HEADMASTER/MISTRESS:
The Headmaster shall be experienced in the same position from a competitive academic institution, should have a minimum of a Diploma or Degree (B.ED) and an educationist. He/She is the top leader of the school. He/She guides his/her fellow teachers in putting into action the teaching of both curriculum and extra curriculum activities. The Headmaster has the duty of creating a good working environment. He/She is the main speaker of the school’s issues.
SECOND MASTER/MISTRESS:
He/She assists the Headmaster/Headmistress on their daily duties.
ACADEMIC MASTER:
Is the Head of Academic issues in school. He must have a minimum of a Diploma or Degree (B.ED)
DISCIPLINE MASTER/MATRON:
The sole responsibility is to maintain discipline in school. Should be equipped with thorough knowledge in Guidance and Counseling. Must have a minimum of Grade IIIA or Diploma from a recognized College in the country.
TEACHERS:
The school shall aim at acquiring qualified, experienced and goal oriented teaching staff. Teachers do the daily and actual teaching in the school. They guide the pupils in doing their work.
BURSAR:
The school shall recruit an experienced person who has served in a competent organization at the same level.
NON-TEACHING STAFF:
The school will employ experienced subordinate staff in their respective departments. These people will do different activities such as gardening, cooking, caretaking and guarding. Their appointment will be based on merit, past experience and personality parameters to be considered.
